David Cuschieri of Cuschieri Design Consultants designed the fit-out for Crema Espresso in Westfield Carindale, Queensland.

This café fit-out had to match the premium brand of Crema Espresso, as well as the other high-calibre brands within the complex including David Jones, Chanel and Apple. The open plan position of the café required that the colour palette and finishes be subtle and neutral to reflect the quality of the kiosk.

The curved design detail of the application was easily achieved with Staron, selecting Bright White to be clad around the perimeter of the café, and extended to the takeaway seating, central island banquette seating and bench. A routed design feature integrates perfectly into Staron with the café brand in polished stainless steel complementing the surface. The crisp white Staron contrasts with the bright red and charcoal seating and decor.
