When Annette Warner began the specification process for the upgrade of LiveLife Pharmacy Noosa Heads – a busy pharmacy on Hastings Street, she wanted a material that could withstand the high traffic demands of retail, while also providing a hygienic and chemical resistant surface for the pharmacist’s needs. The designer chose to combine a variety of different materials throughout the fit-out to compliment the beachside location.

Staron® was selected in colours Mosaic Dalmatian and Mosaic Nimbus, for its practical qualities and unique colours. It has been used for the dispensary and point of sale benchtops. Staron® was also used in the retail area in colour Supreme Ocean View to clad to the cabinets that display prestige perfumes and cosmetics.

Due to the non-porous nature and easy maintenance of Staron®, it has also been used as a retail benchtop space for customers to sample products on. The design of this pharmacy creates a soft elegance to the retail space, whilst providing a functional and inviting pharmacy work and service area.
